I was honored to present the case study that Laura Edoff @_likeabirdthatflew_ and I conducted into the efficacy of remotely delivered yoga therapy. We found that remote therapy was more effective than in person sessions for a client with limited mobility due to fibromyalgia, chronic pain and fatigue, and other comorbid conditions. Our client benefitted greatly from being able to participate in her health care from her home. She experienced a decrease in pain and fatigue and as she put it, "What I hadn't anticipated was how much this yoga practice has improved my emotional, mental, and spiritual world as well as physically." It was so inspiring to be in the presence of these brilliant researchers!

I am an experienced educator, with over 25 years of combined experience, teaching in public schools and teaching yoga. Through my personal yoga practice I realized the tremendous healing powers of yoga. Yoga enables me to sleep better, enjoy more fulfilling relationships, heal old wounds, and deal with life’s challenges calmly. As a yoga teacher, I wanted additional learning so that I could more effectively help my students, so I sought additional training. I obtained a Masters of Science in Yoga Therapy at Maryland University of Integrative Health, and am a Certified Yoga Therapist. I offer my students and clients compassionate care.
